YOU CAN ROCK DAISY'S WORLD
VH1 just doesn't quit. Daisy De La Hoya, the runner up to Bret Michaels' heart in Rock of Love 2, is getting her own cleverly titled show: Daisy of Love. And you yourself can compete for De La Hoya's heart. All you have to do is submit photos and a description to www.daisyoflovecasting.com, where fans will have a chance to vote on who makes the show until Nov. 14. De La Hoya returns to television spring 2009. Brace yourself.
TRAVIS BARKER IS GETTING BETTER, ENOUGH TO DISS HIS EX-WIFE
Travis Barker posted to his MySpace from his hospital bed during the weekend to thank the hospital staff and his friends for supporting him as he recovers from last month's plane crash. Oh, and he also took a shot at ex-wife Shanna Moakler. "Despite any rumors you might have heard via my Ex-wife Shanna Moakler, who I have not seen since the week I checked in, I [have] been treated amazingly well, both here in LA and in Georgia," Barker wrote. Ah, couples conflicts in the wake of near-death experiences.
COSMOGIRL! FOLDS
The magazine industry had another loss this weekend as Hearst Magazines announced CosmoGirl!, the teenage-aimed spin-off of Cosmopolitan, will cease to print, remaining only online after its December issue. The magazine was a PG-13 version of Cosmopolitan, offering teens sex advice and style tips. CosmoGirl!'s subscriber base will now shift to another Hearst publication, Seventeen, which will be the company's teen-based focus. Another one bites the dust.
